(RTTNews) - The holiday shopping season kicked off with a strong start, contributing to a 1.2 percent surge in November retail sales, according to the analysts at Lehman Brothers in the firm’s U.S. daily economic comment. However, the momentum seemingly did not persist through the end of December.
