Collier County’s investments may provide fewer, and less juicy, returns, but the “plain vanilla†policy is sound, an investment analyst said on Tuesday. Presenting an investment summary to county commissioners on behalf of Collier Clerk of Courts Dwight Brock, former Florida State University professor Stuart Brown said the annual yield on the county’s portfolio is 4.86 percent.
